Communion

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
*To participate in the sacrament of communion at home,
please have a token of bread and drink to be blessed during the
Zoom service.
We are a covenantal church.
Our agreement is to support one another as we grow in faith, with the Scriptures as our guide and the Holy Spirit as our inspiration.

Program
Our Worship service follows a program handed out at your arrival that leads you step by step through the service. And our worship is full of music, scripture, prayer, movement, fellowship, meditation, singing. Sample Bulletin.

Be a part of Worship
Deacon's Prayer Book
Because we have so much for which to be prayerful at First Church, the Deacons have placed a notebook in the Narthex,
within which you may write your prayers, joys,
and concerns as you arrive for worship. If you prefer to announce them during prayer,
please do so.
THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
We are always looking for people to read scripture, usher, donate flowers, or serve coffee hour. Volunteers are much appreciated!
We are a supportive community that welcomes participation, with no expectations of perfection. Come and join us as you are!
