Scouting America Troop 907 Woodbridge is an exciting program where adolescent and teen boys can learn leadership and grow together while experiencing the great outdoors. 

 

Regular troop meetings are held weekly on Thursdays from late August until June at 7:00 PM in the Parish House main hall.  This is an active, advancement-focused outdoors-oriented, youth-led troop which schedules a campout every month, with the adventure chosen by the scouts and supported by troop leaders.  Each summer, the troop camps at Camp Sequassen in New Hartford, CT.  Often the troop partners with other troops. Two Courts of Honor are held a year, in December and June. Scouts receive their advancement badges and merit badges at these Courts of Honor. The troop is very proud of its record of scout advancement and scouts achieving the Eagle rank.

 

Adult leaders are trained and provide guidance and oversee safety, ensuring all troop events are in accordance with the values of Scouting.  Currently the troop has a long-term Scoutmaster and two Assistant Scoutmasters. The Troop Committee meets monthly and is chaired by the troop Committee Chair and Chartered Organization Representative.  We fundraise annually to reduce the cost for families to participate.

 

Families are welcome to visit the Thursday evening troop meetings.  Parents are encouraged to become registered to become leaders, Committee Members, Merit Badge Counselors and more.  For more information contact us.
